Dr. Bradford Felker currently serves as the director of PATH (Promoting Access to Telemental Health) at VA Puget Sound Health Care System. This program seeks to unite the emerging tele-technologies (Clinical Video, Web-based, Phone-based, Phone Apps) into a unified clinical, educational, and outcome-based program. Prior to this position, he served as the Director of the Primary Care Mental Health Integration and Deployment Health Director for VA Puget Sound. He continues to serve on multiple national and regional committees related to Primary Care Mental Health Integration that focus on education, implementation, and research in this area. Dr. Felker has been the Principle Investigator and Co-Investigator on multiple research projects related to integrated mental health and primary care. He currently is the Principle Investigator on a multi-site trial studying the implementation of a phone-based care manager program to help facilitate treatment of depressive disorders and/or PTSD in primary care. He is a Professor with the University of Washington Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences.

Dr. Felker also serves as a Commander in the United States Navy Reserve. In 2005, he was mobilized to support Operation Iraqi Freedom where he served as the Mental Health Department Head for US Military Kuwait. Their team implemented many changes to the way mental health is delivered in a combat zone. This work led to him being awarded the Navy Commendation Medal.

Upon graduating from the University of Virginia Medical School, he completed an internship with University of Minnesota Department of Family Practice. He subsequently completed a combined Internal Medicine and Psychiatry dual residency in the University of Virginia residency system earning Board Certification in both disciplines. He began work at the Salem VA in Virginia where he served as the Director of Mental Health Outpatient Department. He developed one of the first integrated primary care clinics embedded within the Mental Health Outpatient Department. He subsequently transferred to VA Puget Sound where he focused his clinical and academic work on implementing mental health within primary care. He is married and has three young adult daughters.
